All cars come with the services of a professional chauffeur, who will personally drive you to the funeral venue and collect you after the service.

Horse-drawn carriage hire for funerals
Do you want a touch of tradition for the funeral service? With our horse-drawn hearses, your loved one can make their final journey in classic style.
We offer a range of horses and carriages for funerals – all impeccably turned out and driven by professional coachmen. Choose from a black or white hearse pulled by a team of two or six horses. We can provide Friesian stallions or Lipizzaner greys.

Coffins and caskets for sale
We want you to feel confident that all aspects of the funeral are taken care of. That's why each of our funeral packages includes a coffin at no extra cost to you.

Chapel of rest
In the heart of our funeral home, you'll find the chapel of rest. This is a peaceful, soothing space set aside for prayer, contemplation and spending time with the person who has died.
You can hire our chapel of rest to conduct funeral rites or to view your loved one's body. It also functions as a Mandir (temple) where our Hindu community can pay their final respects (Darshan).

Priests, celebrants and officiants
Do you need someone to lead the funeral ceremony? We work with faith leaders throughout the community who can accommodate your religious needs and unique preferences.
We can also put you in touch with a local celebrant. A celebrant is a qualified professional who plans and delivers funeral services. They work with people of all faiths and backgrounds but are often chosen by families who want a non-religious ceremony.

Donations
Here at AFD, we're always happy to help families who want to raise money in their loved one's name. We'll provide a donation basket at the funeral service and handle the funds on your behalf. These can be returned to you or sent directly to your chosen charity.
Funeral stationery
Funeral stationery is another way to personalise the funeral. It can include the order of service (a printed guide to the funeral ceremony), as well as memorial cards and thank you cards. We'd be pleased to help you create funeral stationery tailored to your loved one.
Funeral catering
Do you want to provide food and refreshments at the funeral or wake? We can put you in touch with trusted caterers that are local to your chosen venue. Please get in touch with our team and we'll be happy to discuss your requirements.
Condolence books
A condolence book lets loved ones write memories and tributes you can read and cherish. Please note that prices vary depending on your choice of condolence book and its availability. We'll also need at least five days to make the arrangements.
Releasing of doves
Releasing doves is a beautiful way to conclude the funeral service and turn a final goodbye into a message of hope. You can release the doves yourself or let them fly straight from the basket.
Photographers
Do you want a lasting memory of the funeral? Let us put you in touch with one of our trusted and professional funeral photographers. Working with the utmost discretion, they'll capture high-quality photographs in your home, at the funeral ceremony and during the wake.
Standard bearers
Standard (flag) bearers are common at funerals for ex-servicemen and women. We can provide standard bearers at a cost of £75 each. A minimum of four bearers is required, though additional bearers may be needed depending on the weight of the coffin.
Musical tributes
Live music can add a traditional and moving touch to a funeral service. Let us know if you'd like us to arrange this for you. Common options include bagpipers, organists and buglers, though other musicians can be arranged on request.
