Nitesh Patel established AFD in 2021 after working in the funeral industry for more than 10 years.
When you ask us for help, Nitesh will be your first point of contact. You can trust him to offer gentle guidance, be a listening ear and provide expert support right up to the day of the funeral.
As well as bringing a wealth of funeral planning experience, Nitesh possesses a deep knowledge of the funeral rites and rituals of many faiths. Whatever your unique requirements, he'll be there around the clock to make sure your needs are met and your questions are answered.
Nitesh is also the first funeral director from the Shree Kutch Leva Patel Community (UK).

Chapel of rest (Mandir)
The chapel of rest is a peaceful and dignified space within the heart of our Harrow funeral home. Here, you can reflect, pray and spend time with your loved one before the funeral.
Family wash and dress room
This is where your loved one is dressed and prepared for their final journey. This process will be carried out in accordance with your faith – and with the help of your family if desired.
Embalming theatre
Here, your loved one's body is treated by a professionally trained hygienist. The space is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and maintained to the highest hygiene standards.
Mortuary
After we come to collect your loved one, we'll keep them in our hygienic refrigerated mortuary (morgue).
Hearse
A hearse is a car that's specially designed to carry a coffin. Our was built by Duffy – a trusted Irish company with more than 65 years of experience.
Private ambulance
We keep a modern, well-maintained private ambulance at our funeral parlour in Barnet. This means we can collect your loved one at any time of day, any day of the year.
